How Our Eyes Work Differently at Night

Your eyes don’t work the same way in the dark as they do in bright daylight. During the day, your cones are in charge. These light-sensitive cells in your retina are responsible for sharp color vision and work best in bright light. But once the sun goes down and light diminishes, your rods take over. These cells are more sensitive to low light, but they don’t detect color and have lower visual acuity. Because rods need more time to adjust to darkness, your night vision may feel blurry or dim until they fully adapt—a process called dark adaptation.

Why Bright Lights Cause More Glare at Night

Night blindness symptoms can be caused by several factors, including:

Pupil Dilation: In low-light environments, your pupils enlarge to let in more light. This also lets in more peripheral, unfocused light, which can scatter inside the eye.
Internal Light Scatter: As we age, the eye’s natural lens becomes less clear, scattering light more and creating halos or starbursts.
Tear Film and Surface Issues: Even mild dry eye syndrome can cause light to scatter on the eye’s surface, making bright lights appear hazy.
Refractive Errors: Mild myopia (nearsightedness) or astigmatism may go unnoticed in daylight but become obvious when contrast is low, and pupils are larger.

When to Seek Help for Night Blindness

These effects don’t necessarily mean there’s anything “wrong” with your eyes; they’re just part of how vision changes between bright and dark environments. While occasional difficulty seeing at night can be normal, sometimes it’s a sign of an underlying issue such as cataracts, glaucoma, or vitamin A deficiency.

How the Winter Season Affects Our Eyes

Cold weather doesn’t just make your skin dry, it can dry out your eyes too. Here’s how winter conditions impact your vision:

Dry Air: Outdoor wind and indoor heating systems can thin your tear film, leading to dry eye syndrome. A poor tear film scatters light, increasing glare and reducing contrast at night.

The Truth About Screen Time and Eye Health

Spoiler: There's a lot (and we mean, a lot) of misinformation out there about blue light lenses, screen time, and eye health.

Our screen time is, perhaps, higher than ever. Many folks self-report headaches, blurry vision, and general eye strain, which they believe to be caused by hours upon hours spent online. While each person is different, a myth has circulated through the eyewear industry that any pair of blue-light glasses can be a quick fix for everyone.

Unfortunately, like every quick-fix promise, this isn't the case. Here's what we've learned about blue light lenses and screen time as it relates to our health.

How Helpful Are Blue Light Lenses?

Our answer: It depends. A few factors need to be considered, including how strenuous your screen time is and the type of blue light glasses you use.

The truth is, the average person (not using a computer beyond the normal workday) may not benefit from blue light filters.

In fact, there are lawsuits in the making surrounding blue light protection. One concerns false recommendations from doctors and professionals who overstate the dangers and symptoms of computer use in order to charge extra for blue light filters. Another pertains to a misleading promise from blue light products that do not actually protect the retina from damaging rays. It might be surprising to hear that the most commonly sold blue filters have not been proven to provide relief from strain, headaches, blurriness, and other vague blue light symptoms.

Studies show that normal workday activities (especially those using computers for basic print and text functions) mostly pose little threat to your eyes and your retina. Of course, fatigue can be a symptom of high screen time, and custom-designed computer glasses can help tired eyes tremendously.

However, we see many creatives who spend a large portion of their day working on digital projects, from complex advertisements to graphic design, even video game production. For these individuals, whose time online involves bright colors, dynamic automations, and precise details, screen time can be harmful.

Our Advice : If most of your workday involves calendars and emails, you might not find relief from blue light glasses. If, however, you create colorful (but taxing) digital worlds day after day, we'd recommend looking further into a pair of protective lenses.

Which Blue Light Glasses Actually Work?

As mentioned above, another lawsuit is currently investigating the most common blue light filters used by professionals, which do very little to protect your retina and macula. That's where real damage from real overuse can occur. It also addressed the unproven claims that blue filters reduce uncomfortable screen time symptoms.

CustomEyes owner Gregor Owen has taught seminars for fellow opticians, laying out the facts of blue light and its impact on the retina. Here are the major takeaways:

Intense HEV light (in the nanometer range above 420-450, for you light geeks out there) can do serious damage to the macula.
Simple filters offer little protection—usually around 20%.
Protein-enhanced blue filter lenses are the only ones that can properly filter those high ranges. A good filter blocks at least 32-36% of this intense light.

Our Advice: Ask your doctor what percentage of light the products they recommend filter. If it's around that 20% mark, you're likely wasting time and money on a pair of lenses that won't offer real protection.

Children's Eyewear for the Back-to-School Season

Dominic and I are both fond of fitting glasses for youngsters. It is an especially unique responsibility and joy they embrace, as rambunctious youth often have a particular idea that they are invincible. I know it firsthand, remembering my time as a heedless bundle of energy and carelessness that always went at play full speed in daredevil fashion—climbing trees, riding bikes, and collecting hundreds of little injuries along the way. Lucky for me, my mother was an ER nurse, resigned, and prepared to fix the damage.

Therefore, fitting eyewear to children must first concentrate on the lenses being as clear and impact-proof as possible. We see many prescriptions recommending polycarbonate lenses for safety—a good option for years. Gregor's Story

A Life of Learning

After graduating from Wake Forest and Florida Atlantic University with his BA in English, Gregor apprenticed under three of the most talented optical craftsmen in the US, each having more than 30 years of industry experience. He has consulted with and managed business solutions for ophthalmology, optometry, and large and small chain optical businesses. He has been a licensed optician in Florida and is currently licensed in North Carolina. Gregor is also a Fellow of the National Academy of Opticianry, a certified optician with the American Board of Opticianry, a Certified Contact Lens Fitter, and a member of the North Carolina Opticians Association. He has written, lectured, and taught optical technology and business solutions to a variety of eye care professionals.

Continuing Education

Inspired by his own learning opportunities, Gregor began teaching continuing education courses in 2011. Regular attendance and participation made Gregor question the topics he encountered for their intrigue. He began to consider eyewear topics beyond the usual ("with all due respect"), long and sometimes boring coursework without much real application to the day-to-day challenges of opticians everywhere.

Gregor Owen, owner of CustomEyes, learned the important value of honor, courage, and commitment to others, hallmarks of the Marine way. He wishes to honor the great man and American hero he was, inspired by Grice's life of service and mentorship through this toy drive initiative.

Samuel Jackson Grice was born in 1919 and served in the Marine Corps all of his adult life and served in every Pacific Island conflict of WW II. At the end of his career, he passed along his experiences as a Drill Instructor, molding young men into true Marines. Gregor wishes to have lived a life that would make his uncle proud, inspired by the great example his uncle set daily.

Five Years of CustomEyes

It all started with a dream of moving nearer the ocean, and opening an amazing optical shop with a talented optician. I found Dominic McCoy, a true rock star with a great mathematical mind, huge skills in the finish lab, easy and expert manner with clients, and a wonderful personality to hang with at work. Now all we needed was the spot. My friend Andrew, an architect in Raleigh had designed and was building a remarkable one-of-a-kind fusion of shipping containers and steel into a very cool building in downtown Wilmington's South Front District: Terry Espy heard of my interest and it was all over then.

We soon found ourselves leaving Raleigh for Wilmington and this was the space we were coming onto:

Well, the first look was pretty much dirt and an empty shell, but our minds were already filling it up with our very own ideas to compliment the building, celebrate Wilmington and the connection to the ocean and the river, and our quirky personalities. I found a friend in Samm Sawyer and Celeste Glass next door in her restaurant, and the story began. The basic upfit was handled by one of Wilmington’s premier contractors, known for repurposing historic buildings all over town: Christopher Yermal of Old School Rebuilders. After his crew did a bang-up job on the basic interior, David Goodson, a brilliant carpenter and artist happened to come into the picture and we went to work. He was amazing and we would not be here without him. He kept asking if I had a plan, and I said, “Yes, but it is just somewhere in my head, lets just keep going and do what comes naturally to the site and the interior." Poor guy, that is not how you do an upfit to a retail location, but I think it really worked out in the end. David and I worked together for months and finally it was done. Here is the final funky place we call CustomEyes:

My wife Kelly continued to work in Raleigh, and after searching for an affordable place to live while getting this project completed, for the first time in any marriage, she suggested we buy a boat and live on that. We did: we found an old lovely 80’s era motor yacht we still call our salty home off the river. Without her loving support none of this would have happened.

Next, Dominic and I went to the International Vision Expo in NY City and met with designers and frame manufacturers from all over the world. We had the chance to see the entire eyewear industry in one place and at one time, and met the owners, designers, and craftspeople that would best partner with us to bring a fabulous frame collection of true art in eyewear to Wilmington. We wanted quality, creativity, and unique brands not commonly seen in any of the shops we visited in town before we offered them in our shop. We also wanted brands that reflected a respectful and supportive workplace for employees crafting the eyewear, and ones we could feel proud to offer to our clients. We came back with a stunning collection that actually thrills first time visitors to the shop with its diversity and style.

Samm Sawyer and her web design, graphic artistry, media expertise , and amazing staff has been legendary in making the story of our shop. She's worked diligently to introduce CustomEyes to Wilmington and support us from the beginning. Without her advice and talents, we probably would be a shadow of our current selves and our shop too much of a hidden gem.

Of course, after opening in fall of 2019, Covid hit. We introduced an immediate health plan to keep open for those in need, and protect both ourselves and our clients. We got past it by working hard to follow protocols and with the help of the support to small business from all of the sources available, and our loyal clients. Everyone everywhere has their story and luckily most of us made it though. Enough said about that.

It is five years later, and the adventure continues. Every day brings a new friend into the shop or friends made earlier on that find us to be passionate and dedicated to their best life in eyewear. Our lenses designed by Shamir have constantly shocked our clients with their unique and superior clarity that pairs so well with our carefully crafted frames. We actually enjoy the process of introducing people who shop with us to the perfect look to match their idea of what works best in their lives to reflect their image and offer them the best vision anywhere.

We offer our humble and undying gratitude for offering us a chance to design eyewear for our friends in the area. I recently shared my experience with Dockwa about a pair of Lindberg frames that I modified to keep them from flying off and lost in the sea. Little did I realize how much they would protect my eye in the dangerous work as a foredeck racer!

Shady Business of a Foredeck Racer

I have been working foredeck for longer than I care to mention! As everyone knows who is in the Foredeck posse, we are the ones that work the hardest, do the most difficult and acrobatic things, and suffer the foolishness of the after-guard doing silly things at the helm or the winch which can make our lives a bit hazardous. Like broaching in heavy air downwind, or having slow winch work.

I have been knocked off the deck and overboard four times, thankfully having enough luck and adrenaline quickness to go through the lifelines and stanchions but able to grab them and have only three-quarters of my body in the water and enough grip to pull me out high enough to get a hand from my crew to get me on board. I have been taken up the mast in the middle of races to rescue lost halyards, a parted topping lift, and work lines back into mast head hardware.

This brings me to my latest adventure under sail. I have been wearing amazing sunglasses for several years designed by Lindberg, a Danish company that is engineered like no other sunglasses in the world. I had adapted the temples by using a round nose plier to form a small ring at the end and have the frame attached to a cord by a small snap hook and then attached to my foul weather gear to make sure the sunglasses stay with me even if I get knocked off the boat. It has saved my sunglasses from being lost on every knockdown and trip overboard.

I was recently hit very violently with a 50 MM steel ring that was about 5mm thick at its rim at the clew of a madly flapping jib while working foredeck. Apologies for my rather awful closeup below. The ring hit me in the center of my sunglass on target to hit me directly in the pupil of my left eye. The frame was perfectly fine after this impact - the lens needed to be replaced only because of an impact dent and scratch. The lenses in my frame were made from a ballistic material called Trivex. The foredeck crew members are the wild ones doing the really hairy stuff while the occasional goof in the afterguard suddenly creates chaos and scares us!

The Danish design absorbed the terrific impact and rebounded the piece of steel which did drive the sunglasses into my upper eyebrow and cut me a bit, as you can see. I was literally knocked down. That particular frame size and specific geometry were able to only contact the hard bones of the eye orbit, and except for the cut, protected all the vital soft tissue. I have been thinking about designing a way to promote this frame and the ballistic Trivex material as the ultimate in regatta sun-wear for the discriminate sailors. Especially the ones who need the lightest weight yet most incredibly strong eye protection that is perfect for the dangers we face every race. I am an optician with an optical shop in Wilmington, NC it should be mentioned.

I suppose any crew position could use this amazing protection, but first things first, us foredeck crews are at risk because of 'you guys back there'! But, everyone can join our eyeglass club, I suppose. ��

Keeping Your Eyewear Safe

Dominic and Gregor, opticians here at CustomEyes, have been in the game for a really long time, and have seen a lot of broken eyeglasses. Here are their tips for keeping those beautiful pieces of wearable art in good shape and fitting well.

"Well, opticians have only a couple of jokes for eyeglasses, and they both reveal the number one reason glasses get broken," says Gregor. "One is kind of a naughty rhyme, but it goes: 'Never put your glasses where people may put their ... *sses.''' Glasses tend to get sat on A LOT. (The other one opticians always joke about: "That's no way to get hindsight!")

Seriously, to avoid accidents, it is important to never lay down your glasses in a random spot where someone may sit. A simple folding technique can be used to keep your glasses safe. Always fold the temples closed (temples are the pieces that loop on top of your ear). Lay the glasses down with the lenses facing up and the temples folded. This position can withstand pressure and usually does not break the glasses. If the glasses are laid down with the temple open, it creates a lever of force that can quickly break the hinges on the frame front, even with just a little amount of pressure. That's why Gregor and Dominic recommend that you put them in the case every time you take them off.

Securing Your Eyewear

Losing glasses is heartbreaking. Dominic and Gregor have a few helpful hints to keep that from happening. Constantly taking them on and off often leads to misplacement:

Tip #1: try to keep your glasses on to avoid misplacing them

“Well, you know, they never get lost if you are always wearing them unless something pretty tragic happens,” says Gregor. Glasses are often left behind on restaurant tables, in the seat pocket on airplanes, in an Uber or taxi, or in other transition places. "People walk around with their glasses on top of their head… or with one temple stuffed into the front of their shirt. This works until they forget about them," says Dominic. "Bending over or fast movement can dislodge them and you might not notice until they go flying."

Tip #2: keep name-brand sunglasses out of sight

If you are going to leave a good pair of sunglasses in your car, while running a quick errand indoors, hide them out of sight. It is the sad truth that a pair of good quality name-brand sunglasses left visible in a locked car can tempt a dishonest person to break in and grab them.

Tip #3: strap on your activewear frames.

Water activities are always risky for losing glasses, without a really good strap or retaining device. Never wear precious sunglasses surfing, water skiing, snowboarding, or on jet skis.

Learning How to Take Care of Your Eyewear

Taking good care of your lenses and frames should include keeping the frames perfectly adjusted to fit comfortably. Gregor and Dominic from CustomEyes welcome you to stop by anytime if your eyewear needs to be adjusted.

"Glasses that are too loose can easily fall onto the ground or a concrete surface and scratch the lenses," says Gregor. "We never charge for adjustments, whether you have purchased them from CustomEyes or somewhere else. Since we both wear glasses full-time, we know how important it is to have them feel comfortable. It can drive you crazy to have to deal with a pair that is too loose and always sliding, or worse, too tight and hurting behind the ear or on the nose," says Dominic.

At CustomEyes, we have the proper tools to fix bent frames. It is best not to try to fix or straighten them yourself, as using your fingers instead of the proper tools can easily break them.

Lens Care: Cleaning your Glasses

Lens care is an essential aspect of maintaining your glasses. At CustomEyes, we understand this and include a microfiber cleaning cloth and an approved liquid cleaner with every pickup. These tools will help protect the sophisticated anti-reflection coatings on your lenses. Microfiber cleaning cloths are gentle and effective, so heavy scrubbing is not necessary. Avoid using a shirttail, paper towels, or cleaner papers in little packets as they can harm or scratch your coatings or lenses. Unlike other materials, microfiber has a tight weave that does not trap small crystals and grit in the fabric, making it the ideal cleaning method. When purchasing cleaning tools, make sure to look for the "approved for anti-reflective lenses" statement on the packaging.

Keeping your glasses in good condition means cleaning them properly. You can clean them using cool water and mild dish detergent. First, soap them up using your fingers and then rinse with cool water. Dab dry with a clean paper towel to get most of the water off. Use only your clean microfiber to polish them. If your microfiber starts smearing your lenses, it's probably because the fabric has trapped fingerprint oils. You can wash and dry microfiber cloths in the washing machine to get them as good as new but do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets.

Protecting Your Frames

There are some activities involving eyewear that can be risky. These include spray painting or using varnishes, solvents, or chemicals, using hairspray, or working around grinders, sanders, or metal. It is best to use safety goggles over your glasses when performing these tasks. If harsh substances get on your glasses, do not try to clean them yourself. Instead, rinse them gently and avoid rubbing the surface. You can bring them to CustomEyes, where Dominic or Gregor can often clean them with the appropriate solvent that won't damage the lenses.

Extreme heat can damage both frames and lenses, especially if you wear plastic frames or frames with plastic parts. Leaving your glasses exposed to direct heat in the car for long errands can be harmful. Tuck them under the seat or away from direct exposure and try your best to limit the time any eyewear is left in the car on hot summer days.

It's such a small thing today that you might not even think about it: your glasses. Yet they can be such vital, functional pieces of our everyday lives. Let's chat about the ways that eyewear has changed over the centuries, morphing over time, and developing into a craft like any other artistic endeavor.

Looking at Eyewear Through History

On February 23rd, 1306, Giordano da Rivalto sheds a little light into the art and history of eyewear by stating in a sermon, "it is not yet twenty years since there was found the art of making eyeglasses which make for good vision, one of the best arts and most necessary that the world has," and he coined the word occhiali meaning eyeglasses.

In ancient times, someone noticed that convex-shaped glass magnified images. Sometime between the years 1000 and 1250, crude technology began to develop called reading stones, which were simple magnifiers. English-Franciscan friar Roger Bacon (1220 -1292) noted that letters could be seen better and larger when viewed through less than half a sphere of glass in his book Opus Majus (1268). Bacon's experiments confirmed the principle of the convex (converging) lens, which was described earlier by Ḥasan Ibn al-Haytham, also known as Alhazen (965-1038). Today, he is regarded as the "father of modern optics." Ḥasan Ibn al-Haytham was an Arabian mathematician, optician, and astronomer in Cairo whose research helped Bacon recognize that convex lenses could assist weak eyes or the vision of aged persons.

Venice, Italy (the island of Murano specifically) was one of the most advanced centers for the medieval glass industry. Its guild of crystal workers was formed in 1284. In one of the guild’s earliest regulations, the organization adopted a term for the discs for the eyes (roidi da ogli or vetri da occhi) for the first time.

Although very pampered for middle-class artisans, glassmakers weren't allowed to leave the Republic. If a craftsman got a hankering to set up shop beyond the Lagoon, he risked being assassinated or having his hands cut off by the secret police.

It was the city of Florence that by the middle of the fifteenth century led in the innovation, production, sale, and spread of spectacles within and outside Italy. There were fifty-two spectacle makers between 1413 and 1562. It was in Florence that both convex and concave lens shapes first were developed in the West. Other European eyewear maker guilds formed later, the first in Germany in 1535, and then in England under King Charles' rule in 1639.

With the invention of Johannes Gutenberg's printing press in 1454, eyewear began rising in popularity, necessary for all classes of society and was the impetus for all the growth in this industry.

Frame Design and Distribution

The first frames were for round lenses, followed by oval, and eventually, rectangular ones became popular in the mid-1830s. Some materials for later frames included brass, tortoiseshell from the hawksbill turtle, baleen, steel, silver, and gold.

Leather-framed spectacles have long been considered the “Holy Grail” for collectors of antique eyeglasses. The reason for this is that anything earlier than leather is extremely rare and the few known can only be found in certain fortunate European institutions. The Venetian merchant ship Gagiana sank near the rocky inlet Gnalic in 1583 and the oldest leather examples were found on board.

Frames for Fashion

By the 1970s, frames had taken on fashionable allure. This era marked a substantial transition, from simple choices, limited materials, a few shapes, and the burden of chunky or unattractive eyewear into fashion as the driver of design.

There was also a growing movement towards designer and name-brand frames such as Dior, Porsche, Carrera, Cazal, Bugatti, Cartier, Colani, Jaguar, Lacoste, and Porsche, influenced by the designers of the '70s.

Emergence of New Materials

In 1964, Wilhem Anger patented Optyl, a new-age resin that is hypoallergenic, extremely lightweight, and durable. It also takes on almost any color pattern, with a long lifespan for color retention, and unusual shape retention properties, all combining for a frame material that aided in the fashion overhaul of the mid-20th century.

Titanium was another important player in the frame game. Its first use was attributed to Colani frames and ushered in the first rimless frames from Dior. It is a very strong, lightweight, and colorful material.

There was also the development of titan-flex or flexon, which has a good weight-to-strength ratio and is less expensive than pure, non-flexible titanium. It also allowed bridge and temple pieces to have extreme flexibility and strength while leaving the body of the frame rigid for pads, eye wire, and hinges.

Eyewear Today — Modern Frame Styles and Materials

Today, stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum are most widely used in eyewear manufacturing. Alloy mixes are also sued to achieve the best results for color and strength, eliminating any possible disadvantages of using only one material. Horn, laminated wood, and solid sterling silver are still used today, and you'll also commonly find stone and enamel inlays. C and C cutting and shaping equipment are very useful in creating fine details.

Mazzucchelli Acetate, first developed in Italy, is a stand-out material, brilliantly imitating horn and tortoiseshell, the latter of which is banned from production worldwide. Molded zyle is another cheaper alternative.

Your Child's Vision

Our CustomEyes staff specializes in helping parents care for their children's visual needs. If you've ever heard the saying, "young eyes are healthy eyes," you might understand how we can take our children's vision for granted. But according to the American Optometric Association, 1 in 5 preschoolers have vision problems and 25% will need or wear corrective lenses by the time they enter school. Vision problems may also interfere with their learning and behavior.

Even though your child may be receiving regular screenings at school, these should not be the only mode of care that your child receives. Screenings are good for detecting common problems such as trouble seeing distance, but they don't detect other issues such as astigmatism or blurred vision. It is important that you take your child for regular pediatric eye exams, not just screenings, and receive the corrective eyewear that they need. Our team is happy to refer any concerned parents to one of the local eye professionals we partner with for our clients' eye exams.

Your Child's Vision and Behavior

Some behavioral problems are really misdiagnosed vision disorders. A misdiagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) can lead to a long, difficult process for you and your child when the issue could have been avoided by regular pediatric eye exams.

When your child has difficulty seeing, that can lead to behavioral "issues" such as:

A dislike or avoidance of reading
Short attention span
Decreasing performance in school
Increased or excessive time needed to complete homework.

When to Take Your Child to the Eye Doctor:

The American Optometric Association recommends the following schedule:

Infants should receive an in-person comprehensive eye and vision assessment between 6 and 12 months of age for the prevention and/or early diagnosis and treatment of sight-threatening eye conditions and to evaluate visual development. Preschoolers should receive at least one in-person, comprehensive eye exam between the ages of 3 and 5 to prevent or diagnose any condition that may have long-term effects. School-aged children (6-18 years) should receive a comprehensive in-person exam prior to entering the first grade and annually thereafter.

Signs that your child may be experiencing vision problems:

Poor hand-eye coordination
Frequent squinting, eye-rubbing, or blinking
Bothered by light
Avoidance of close work
Covering one eye while reading
Frequently skips lines or loses their place while reading
Holds their books close to their eyes (7-8 inches)
Omitting, miscalling, or repeating words when reading aloud
Reversals of letters or words past the second grade
Poor spelling skills
School subjects that require lots of reading (language arts or social studies) are more difficult than those that do not (math, art, etc.)

If your child is displaying symptoms or signs of vision problems, please do not hesitate to take them for an eye exam.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (August 1, 2022) — CustomEyes, Wilmington’s premier designer-driven eyeglass shop, will host a fashion show to present Gucci and Cazal’s 2022 frame collections.

Watch as models show off the latest frames from this year’s collection, styled and perfectly paired with fashions sourced from Wilmington’s local shops.

Ambassadors from both Gucci and Cazal will help present the frame collections and all frames will be available for purchase. After the show, guests can attend a private fitting to sample the latest looks and work with CustomEyes to match their style preferences, skin tones, and bone structure to the perfect pair of eyewear, or several.

“We want to show Wilmington the entire collection for Gucci and Cazal along with clothing from local businesses so we can emphasize that eyewear doesn’t have to be an afterthought, but a statement and another way to express yourself,” said CustomEyes owner and optician Gregor Owen. “We see customers come into our shop with an inherently elegant air about them, but then they have ordinary and sometimes poorly designed eyeglass frames that don't necessarily compliment their look. Your eyewear is one of the first things people notice about you, and we can help you convey something more true to your style and who you are.”

Tickets are on sale now for the event coming this fall at The Lookout at Ironfront. Each ticket will include a drink ticket and raffle ticket.
